I really don't have an all time favorite but I did love the trip to Old Man's Cave. I do have a feeling though that this years camping trip will be fun though. This is first time in a long time that my husband and I will be getting away just the two of us. It will seem strange though not having the kids along.

Herbology because I love watching things grow and helping them along.
11. How many pairs of shoes (footwear) do you have? Which are your favorite pair?

12. How many projects do you have OTN (on the needles)?
Do I have to count because it is just too scary but I will venture a guess and say probably about 15 or so. Heck I probably have about 5 pairs of socks on needles now.
13. What is the oldest project you're working on and when did you cast it on?
A sleeveless sweater that is almost done if I would just quit knitting socks. I am a pretty new knitter so it's only been on the needles for about a year and half.
14. Favorite food(s)?
Hands down, CHOCOLATE!!!!!!

Quidditch Mix-up
Well I have to say congrats to those Hufflepuffs aren't they just clever! To win quidditch twice is pretty special. I for one don't need another round they won and the rest of us should have been paying closer attention. So again congratulations Selena! I for one have been busy shopping and putting final little things together for my Eleanor and I hope she likes everyone of them. I have one more little thing that I want to complete and then the owl will be sent off. With that note I have work to do!! Hope everyone is enjoying their time at Hogwart's and learning lots.

Wants to know more
1. What was I doing 10 years ago?
Well 10 years ago I was working in a restrant cooking and living in Ohio. I was also playing mommy and care giver to my husband grandmother who was living with us at the time.
2. What are 5 things on my to-do list today?
Well I have a ton of laundry to do which might I add I have been doing non-stop for days now it seems. I also have some yard work to do and then some general housekeeping. Then of course some knitting but most of all I have to go and pick up my son from the last day of school. Hurray! Not that it's going to last long because he has summer school.
3. Snacks I enjoy
I love anything that is sweet and chocolate. I might add though that dark chocolate is my favorite, although not too dark.
4. Things I would do if I were a billionaire
Travel all around the world (especially Europe), pay off all my daughter's school loans, open a yarn shop and pass the knitting bug along to others (it would also have to include quilting so the store would have to be huge), lastly I would just enjoy life and family.
5. Places I've lived
Homer, Mich., Richmond,Ca., San Diego,Ca., Hampton,Va., some little itty bitty town in West Va.,a few places near Toledo,Oh. and then now at my new resting place Kelso,Wa.
6. Jobs I've had
Well I got tell you it seems like I have done a lot of different things I started off right out of high school in the Navy but didn't get very far expect to Alaska for three months in the dead of winter. Then I cooked in different kinds of restrants for a long time. Then I did some care giving because I throughly enjoy older people and the wisdoms that they pass along. Which lead me to going to school for a while for nursing but that has not worked out to date every time that I go back some thing seems to get in the way. Now I just don't think it is going to happen. Lately I have just been a mom and a part-time domestic goddess for others.

Dropped out of sight
I guess I really did drop out of sight for awhile and really did not mean to but my dad went into the hospital and everything here has been a little touch and go with me. Well I am back on track and have been knitting like crazy. I mean what else do you do when you can't do anything else but sit. My spoilee's gift is done and I just have a few more little things to do and get. Finally found the perfect yarn but had to go out of town to get it (my local LYS had nothing). But a road trip is always good and you get to see different things. I am really jealous of all of you who put yarn in a cauldron and come out with beautifulness. I wish all my other Griff's good luck at Quidditch and let's kick butt and take names.

Another weekend gone by.......
Well another week has pasted us by it is absolutely unbelievable how fast this year is going by. My college daughter has been home and we are getting ready to take her back for the summer because she will be working on campus. My one quilt group is getting ready to end their meeting's for the summer until Sept. School for my son is almost done although he will be going to summer school to make up some missing credits. Myself, I have been knitting and sewing up a storm. I almost done with one of my items for my spoilee and have got another idea cooking. I will have to see how that goes though but I'm sure I will have that done also. Well time to go to bed so that I can start another early morning considering it is Monday. Urgh!!!!!!
